    New York City

    Date: TBD

    For registration phone : 212-475-7799

The objective of this workshop is to acquaint participants with classic lighting and camera techniques to capture the intimacy and mystique of the human figure.
Participants will practice classical Figure Photography techniques.  Posing, lighting, manual metering, manual focusing and manual exposure will be reviewed.
True to form, we will be using a Large Format Camera. Photographers bring a box of 4x5 Polaroid type 55 film as well as the camera you usually shoot with, film or digital, and a tripod.  Type 55 gives you a dazzling 4x5 negative suitable for print or scan plus a beautiful 4x5 contact print.
We each create a classic print in my Large format View Camera with the type 55 film using classic optics, applying the classic principles.
Here's the challenge. After shooting Large Format, with Polaroid type 55, we then go off and see how many of the classic principles we can apply using our usual camera.
Okay for two photographers share one box to Polaroid Type 55.  Each box has 20 sheets
